2020 Kaiser Permanente Individual Medicare Advantage Plan Network Changes Skagit & Whatcom Counties
Kaiser Permanente Individual Medicare Advantage members in Skagit & Whatcom Counties will have fewer primary care providers in-network in their respective communities in 2020 as Kaiser Permanente has announced some changes. One important thing to remember is that network changes can happen at anytime throughout the year including additions being made to the network during the Annual Election Period. So what is true today may very well not be true tomorrow or 4 months down the road.
Kaiser Permanente has provided us with the following statement:
Kaiser Permanente Washington is changing who it contracts with for primary care provider services in Skagit and Whatcom counties for their Individual Medicare Advantage plans in 2020. Impacted clients will receive a notification from Kaiser Permanente about these changes and their options at the beginning of Oct. 2019.
It will be very important to pay special attention to any mail you may have received from Kaiser Permanente regarding these changes, specifically the Annual Notice of Change letter.
