
Live in the Vancouver, WA area? If you have a Regence BlueAdvantage HMO Medicare Advantage plan, take note: a recent network change could impact you in 2017.
Effective January 1, 2017 The Legacy Primary Care Physicians (PCPs) group will no longer be in the Regence BlueAdvantage HMO network. The Legacy Hospitals along with their specialists and facilities will remain in network. This announcement only applies to Primary Care Physicians who will no longer be in network.
PCPs will remain in network for the PPO plan with Regence..
Keep in mind:
- The specialists, facilities, & hospitals are still contracted with BlueAdvantage HMO.
- BlueAdvantage HMO members impacted by this change do not qualify for a Special Enrollment Period.
- BlueAdvantage HMO members looking to maintain a relationship with their Legacy Primary Care Physician will need to enroll in one of their accepted plans by December 7th, 2016.
BlueAdvantage HMO members impacted by this change will likely receive notification from Regence this Annual Election Period.
