We wanted to inform you of a situation that will have a significant impact on Regence MedAdvantage members who reside in Seattle and the surrounding area.

Effective July 1st, 2013, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance will no longer be accepting the Regence MedAdvantage PPO plan. While the plan will no longer be accepted as in-network, members may still see a Seattle Cancer Care Alliance provider and simply be billed as an out-of-network visit.

From the Regence Blue Shield communication to the agent community:

[quote_simple]Any claims for dates of service on or after July 1, 2013, will be processed under the out-of-network benefit. Any out-of-network copay or coinsurance amounts would apply for services received on or after July 1, 2013. Members are encouraged to see their plan’s Evidence of Coverage for more information about their benefits and cost-sharing. [/quote_simple]

If you have any concerns about this change, please contact us and we will make sure that all of your options are presented.
